Saw 3 yellow tailed black cockatoos, these are large and awesome looking Australian birds.
Also orange and a white butterflies/ faeries.
Hugs and fairydust,
Laura.
Looking good! The shrug looks really cute and comfy.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is a really nice way of finishing off a simple outfit! And not too hot in summer, it seems!
DeleteWow, are there black cockatoos? :O My world is in ruins, I thought there are only white! :p They look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYes! I thought these were endangered but they aren't, just less common than white ones. It is apparently the ones with the orange/red tails that are endangered! They are even more dramatic looking!
DeleteOmg I love cockatoos!!
ReplyDeleteThey are noisy and have very cheeky looking faces. The white ones like to throw fruit on the ground and then not eat it. They laugh at dogs, nothing seems to scare them!
DeleteI love it!! That skirt is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou look lovely, I love everything about this outfit! ^^
ReplyDeleteDo yellow tailed black cockatoos talk?
Aw, thanks! I haven't heard them talking, maybe if one was a pet it would learn words like the pet white ones do!
DeleteI love the shawl/collar thingie you wear, it is very decorative. I beleive it would add something extra to a plain long sleeved shirt :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, it does add to a simple outfit!
DeleteI love that capelet. adding it to my never-ending to-crochet list
ReplyDeleteOooh! I'd love to see some of your crochet stuff!
DeleteFunny enough, I just wrote a post with "Bark" in the title. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great outfit, and you look lovely!
Awesome cockatoos! Australia has such cool animals (including fruit bats!). Some really scary animals, too... but still. ;)
Thank you!
DeleteYes, we do have some cute animals! Lots of mean snakes and insects though!
<3 Your skirt! So beautiful, as always Laura!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteLooking lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! <3
