Powerhouse Museum #2: Isabella Blow Exhibition

Isabella "Issie" Blow (19 November 1958 – 7 May 2007) was an English magazine editor. The muse of hat designer Philip Treacy, she is credited with discovering the models Stella Tennant and Sophie Dahl as well as the fashion designer Alexander McQueen.- Wikipedia

Isabella was known for her outfits, which she even wore at home, in her castle-like manor. There was a story about her lending a fishnet dress to a guest who she thought was not dressed up enough. She thought dressing up was an essential part of life. There was a quote in the exhibition about her dressing up in a feathered cape to watch David Attenborough, and in a video, you can see her walking around on the lawns in stiletto heels.
