11 Questions from Just Keep Brains

– Do you believe in spirit animals or a connection to animals in any way?
I feel deeply connected to animals, more so than most people. I believe that the three dogs I have loved in the past are my doggy angels who watch over me. I have little figurines symbolising them on my altar. I always talk to animals as if they are people, I read the bird poetry, and he seems to appreciate it. I think people underestimate how much animals understand.

– What was your favourite city you’ve been travelling to so far?
I have been to so few places outside of my country. I really enjoyed Paris and London.

– If you could live as any creature in any time and any place you’d like, what would it look like?
As dangerous as it is, I love the town of Fair Hollow in Katherine Harbour's Night and Nothing books. I suppose I might also be a Fata if I lived there...

– Why did you start blogging and are you still blogging about the same subject/s?
I first started blogging about books and TV series on this blog, I started a separate fashion one sometime later, and eventually added the two together. I definitely post a lot more about my lifestyle and thoughts now.

– How did you come up with your blogs name?
This blog was originally meant to be a book blog, vellum is and old kind of paper (made from calf skin) and I think it is a really beautiful word. Obviously I also love flowers. The name also has a bit of darkness to it which still suits me I think.

– Favorite Season?
Autumn, I get too hot in Summer, but I can get too cold in winter, so Autumn is about right for me, followed by Spring. The changing leaves in Autumn are also breathtaking!

– Who is your favourite Villain?
I guess I would have to say Loki, although I don't really think of him as a villain. I totally identify with all his family issues! I have a history of identifying with 'villains' all the way back to my childhood. They often have the best outfits and are completely misunderstood!

– What are you afraid of – any phobia?
Oh, nearly everything I am afraid! I am superstitious, I believe in and fear ghosts and monsters at least at night, I have mild agoraphobia, mild claustrophobia, social phobia, fear of drowning...

– Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies?
Always vampires, immortal and forever sexy!

– What would be your top wardrobe staple?
A dress, I guess. I wear dresses almost all the time when I dress up, except when I wear a skirt and top.

– Would you prefer a night at the club / a bar or on the couch or in nature?
I would like to sit outside and have a picnic.
